This fifth annual gathering of the Kosovo International Literary Festival continues its exciting role, gathering poets from all corners of the world to share their work and thought, and get to know Kosovo and each other. All poets participate in pretty much all activities, making for an intimate and open environment which quickly fosters lifelong friendships and future cooperation. Too, the surprisingly kind nature of Kosovars, and their unique situation internationally, makes for a gentle immersion in something surprising and useful to know about, in better understanding and navigating our present world. What a vital work of international cultural interchange this is — thanks to organizer Fahredin Shehu, and the numerous volunteers and supporters who make this happen!
